Gerry O was a kind, generous and funny funny man. I met him over 20 years ago through friends golfing at Spallumcheen. Throughout the years I had the privilege of getting to know him a lot better through our out of town golf trips to Spokane, the Kootenays, Osoyoos, and of course our unforgettable holiday stay in Phoenix for 2 months. To get to know the man who loved his family first and foremost, then pass on his kindness to others that I got to see first-hand on many occasions was special. He was a a main cog in our morning coffee group wheel where we discussed the latest. When Patsy and I returned home from vacation in April I was so worried along with others, but the morning he told a few of us at coffee his prognosis, it hit us like a Truck. I saw him as a man ready to do battle with this disease. We are all saddened. Pam, Phil, Ashley and all those closer than us I wish you our deepest and sincerest condolences. We all loved him and we will all miss him and his Huge Gerry O smile. Rest in Peace my good friend. The pain is gone.
